Professional Life Coaching

Could life coaching help you to successfully manage change in your life?

Change has the ability to scare us down to our core. Yet, change and transition are a natural part of life. They allow us to grow, and without growth we die.

"The important thing is this: to be ready at any moment to
sacrifice what you are for what you could become."
~ Charles Dickens

Some of us are keenly aware of what it is that we want to leave behind us, but lack a clear vision of our lives as we’d like them to be. Others have a good idea of the direction in which we want to grow, but lack the knowledge and personal courage to leave familiar territory. Yet others of us are frozen in fear, 'stuck' and moving neither forward nor back.

These are very uncertain times in which we live. There is upheaval in every corner of the globe, and the world (and our place in it) is changing faster than we can process and adapt to those changes.

Our human brains are hard wired to fight or flee when we perceive any possible threat, and we are bombarded with them 24/7. We are a people on edge, with nearly one in every five adults in North America (ages 18 to 54) experiencing some kind of anxiety disorder.*
*According to The National Institute of Mental Health.

Other experts observe that we are experiencing an epidemic of loneliness. People are starved for human contact and compassion. We want to be seen, understood and accepted. We need to be a part of something greater than ourselves. We want our lives to matter.
